Hi All
Yes, it’s that time of year again where we break out the Royal Ascot Charity Comp.
Many of you will have been here before, pitting your wits against one another to see who will come out on top at the end of 5 fantastic days of racing. However for those who are yet to play along in one of our competitions here is a little more information on how it works.
Each day entrants will be asked to make 1 selection in every race on that days Royal Ascot card via our entry forms which you will be given access to through a password controlled link.
Points will be awarded depending on the finishing position of your selection. Your points will then be accrued across the course of the 5 days with the highest scoring player being the competition winner.
Winner = 4pts
Runner Up = 3pts
3rd Place = 2pts
4th Place = 1pt
Any NRs will be scored on SP Fav for that race.
Competition entry will cost £5 with the total pot being split 50/50 between the competition winner and the chosen charity. All monies raised from this years competition will go towards Betsy Williams Children’s Cancer Fundraiser. Betsy is the daughter of the Wales based trainer Christian Williams and is currently undergoing treatment for leukaemia and you can find more details of how this brave young lady is trying to help others over on her Just Giving page
To enter pay £5 via Paypal using the following email gordie1977@googlemail.com
You will then be added to the competition mailing list using the email connected to your Paypal account unless otherwise stated by yourselves in a message. On the Eve of each days racing you will receive access to the password controlled entry form where you will make your selections.
Alongside this years competition there will be a daily Charity Bet of £20, sponsored by Richard Higson who has once again thrown his support behind us with all winnings from these daily bets also going towards Betsy’s fundraiser.
Any questions please do not hesitate to contact me via email gordie1977@googlemail.com or on Twitter @horses4causesgb
Thank you for your continued support
Warm Regards
Gordon
