Fire Flyer 1pt win only 12/1 – Paul Nicholls is looking for a 3rd win in this race since 2019 and this one was coming along nicely before not getting home on bottomless ground over the longer trip of 2m 4f here last time out. Back on quicker ground today and the breeding says that should be ideal. Already has the beating of todays favourite Secret Squirrel and can confirm that form today with the yard arriving here bang in form as they do every season. Diamond Dice won at Ludlow in a race that has worked out pretty well since and could be one that has snuck under the radar at a whopping 66/1 with 5 places widely available.

Le Milos 1pt win only 17/2 – Won the Coral Gold Cup from a similar mark on just his second start for the yard back in 2022 and was proving to be a very progressive chaser for the Skeltons. Has not been seen at his best in 3 runs over hurdles since completing the Grand National last season and returns to the bigger obstacles today with his mark on the slide and conditions looking perfect. Has won at the track for his previous yard too. Bryony Frost has an interesting mount at a big price and is allowed to go from the bottom of the weights having failed to complete twice and finishing last of 10 in his last 3 starts. Back on his last winning mark now however and is another who gets his conditions here.

Gold Dancer 1pt win only 9/1 – A very expensive purchase from France for leading connections who has acquitted himself pretty well in just two starts in some pretty hot company. Was beaten 34 lengths on his yard debut for Willie Mullins but that run came off the back of a 270 day lay off and he was beaten by no less than 3 Cheltenham festival winners including 2 Grade 1 winners in Ballyburn and Slade Steel. Takes a huge drop in class here dropping into handicap company for the first time and looks to be on a fair mark. Likely improver for the better ground too. NON RUNNER

Heartrate 1pt win only 14/1 – Both wins to date have come on quicker ground but he has acted on slower ground previously with a placed effort on Soft/Heavy over in Ireland. Won from todays mark on stable debut last term term and comes into this having been freshened up with a similar lay off. Yard are in good form of late and should outrun his odds here today in what looks a very winnable race.

Will have no excuses today and gets a handy 3lb taken off by a very good claimer. Looked to be on a return to his best last time out with a solid run and this step back up in trip today should help him go even closer.

Lost In Time 1pt win only 9/1 – Marginally better on turf than he is on the AW and appears to act even more so when the ground is slower. Needs to bounce back from a couple of lesser performances but was running well from around 6/7lb higher on turf last season and has a piece of form at Nottingham over this trip on Heavy that puts him a good few pounds well in with the two market principles Macho Sun and Fougere (stablemate). The stablemate would appear to be the pick on jockey bookings but he remains a maiden and is 13lb worse of with him today for a 1/2 length distance above him on that Nottingham race.

Snazzy Jazzy 1pt win only 12/1 – Needs to have come on for his recent reappearance but will act on todays ground and is sitting on a very attractive mark. Back up to 6f today which is a must and well worth another try from 12lb below his last winning mark, albeit from almost 2 years ago but hopefully the yard have him right for a big run.
