Dartman 0.5pt EW 33/1 – 8 race maiden who looked to be on the slide last term and has since moved yards to one who is better known for going over obstacles so this ones future could possibly lie elsewhere but todays step up in trip on testing conditions look to be just what the doctor ordered on breeding and we could well get a little surprise from this well bred sort who showed plenty of promise as a 2yo.

Eye Of The Water 1pt win only 10/1 – has won twice over CD including winning this race last year when 3lb higher. Won over CD again in August and that run came from 5lb higher than today. Both CD wins came on Good to Soft so had a little give under foot so this one ticks a lot of boxes. Will need to put his latest run behind him but he could have needed that following 3 months off. Hard to catch right but on a going day this horse looks very well treated.

Lunar Power 0.5pt EW 40/1 (4 places Skybet) – Has done very little over obstacles since his win over in Ireland last May but peaks my interest today switching back to the flat on an AW surface. Was runner up from todays mark when last tried over this trip on the AW over at Dundalk and whilst there is a lot of optimism required to get behind this one today i am hopeful of running into a place in a race where most of them look to be in the handicappers grip.
