Onlslow Gardens 1pt win only 10/1 – Very promising as a 2 year old but failed to build on that in two runs last term. Returns here from a 10 month lay off and drops to 6f on quicker ground for his handicap debut. Interesting that connections have stuck with him and if he has retained any of the early promise then this mark would be a gimme. Drop in trip would look to suit on breeding as would the quicker ground.

Gorak 1pt win only 8/1 – Handicap mark shot through the roof last year following 2 wins on the turf and a big run in the G3 John Of Gaunt Stakes. Looked up against it in big handicaps from a very inflated mark thereafter for the remainder of the season. As a result his mark has slid back down to what looks a more workable one and he put in a very pleasing reappearance here last month following a 208 day lay off. He finished behind two subsequent winners that day and was not given a race run to suit having to work alone for a long period on the far side. Should come on for that run and has been dropped a further 2lb for this. Gets ideal conditions and trip and a better draw too.

Cabinet Of Clowns 1pt win only 12/1 – Two wins on turf last term including one here on the July course. Has also placed over this CD and went very close from this current mark. Will need to be ready to roll for his reappearance but looks one who could be open to plenty of improvement. Looks weighted to reverse the form with Repertoire and is certainly better off at the weights with a couple more in this too in Aalto and Zozimus

Gets his ideal trip and conditions here and went close at Haydock last term from a 9lb higher mark. Ran a good 2nd at Wolverhampton back in November on his last but 1 start so still has ability and he has proven better on turf so looks well in should he be fit for this reappearance.
