Gidwa 1pt win only 14/1 – Finished last of 18 on yard debut last time out but was never really put into the race and certainly wasn’t given a hard time. Has a couple of decent pieces of form prior to that over CD including a win from just 1lb lower than this current mark. Yard send just the one tonight and its a fair old trip to make to be going home empty handed.

Global Effort 1pt win only 11/1 – Runner up from a mark of 58 over CD last October for his previous yard and his best run for this yard in 4 outings also came over CD from a mark of 56. Goes today from 52 and comes here with the yard in decent form. Luke Morris takes over in the saddle which would normally be a sticking point for me but he gets on well with these connections and that can sometimes speak volumes. Close of Play 50/1 ran well over CD on debut and has gone well here on another occasion. His debut run was in a decent race and a reproduction of that form would put him bang there at a huge price.

King Sharja 1pt win only 12/1 – Was given an opening mark of 76 following 3 novice/maiden runs when with his previous yard and has failed to show any signs of being anywhere near that to date. Has been running on turf and softer than ideal conditions however and he is allowed to make the switch back to the AW from a mark of just 60 today. The slightly extended 8f will play further in his favour too and this well bred son of Kingman could want even further still in time. Has to be better than what he has shown so far for this yard and tonight looks a good opportunity to show it. Cloch Nua 40/1 is sitting on a decent mark if able to bounce back now stepped back up in trip with a run under his belt too.
