Grain D’Oudairies 1pt win only 8/1 – Was in the process of running a big race when coming to grief 4 out at Wetherby 2 runs back and the winner that day has since come out to win twice including this years Ultima at the Cheltenham festival from a 6lb higher mark. Would probably have needed the latest run following that heavy fall to win back some confidence and this lightly raced 9 year old still looks very well treated on recent evidence.

One More Strike 1pt win only 7/1 – Improved to win a class 3 event at Musselburgh last month and followed that up with another solid effort last time out when 3rd (a long way clear of 4th) in a decent looking race where he had 2 of these well beaten. Has form that looks slightly above the level of this field and is likely to still have plenty of improvement to come.

Sean Og 1pt win only 7/1 – The winner of the above mentioned race with One More Strike back in 3rd and we are hopeful that he is good for another big run here. Drops back in trip which shouldn’t prove too big an issue having won over similar trips previously. Has his 5lb rise for that win negated today by the very talented William Maggs but there is a slight worry about the right handed track he encounters here today. Has a bit to find with a couple of these including the favourite but can do so if able to continue the upward curve from todays weights.

Marty Mcfly 1pt win only 8/1 – Very lightly raced and far less exposed than a few of these but has suffered a couple of heavy defeats in between his best bits of form. The best runs however have come over the shorter trips so today drop back should suit. Only 2lb above his last winning mark and should have more to offer now with conditions and trip looking more suited. The drying ground should prove to be a big plus too.
