Oscars Sister 1pt win only 14/1 – Connections have a great record at this track and interestingly their go to jockey climbs on board this one for the first time since making her debut some 13 runs back. Callum Rodriguez has a 35% strike rate riding in these colours and the owners enjoy a good time of it here at the track with a 26% strike rate. Won from a 16lb higher mark as a 3 year old but has not really pushed on from that and will hopefully be able to rediscover something here today on reappearance from a very lowly mark.

Returned to action with a decent effort that will act as a building block here. Sits 8lb below last winning mark here with another very valuable 3 taken off by Aiden Brookes in the saddle. Has a great record in this grade and should go close today.

Looked in need of the run last time out and will come here to this happy hunting ground well versed for a big run today. Yard are 9 wins and 4 placed from 24 here in the last 12 months for a 37.5% strike rate and they have been amongst the winners and had numerous placed in the last couple of weeks.

Was sandwiched between 2 subsequent winners last time out and the yard have been doing well with the runners they send here more recently. Holds a great EW chance with On Edge rating a big danger at 12/1

Haymaker 1pt win only 11/2 + Indian Creak 0.5pt EW 25/1 – Haymaker was runner up in the race last year from a 4lb higher mark and won on his second outing last term too. Had a wind op before returning last year as is the case this year so a very similar prep and is some 7lb better off with last years winner Amazonian Dream for a head defeat. Indian Creak is somewhat of a course specialist with 5 CD wins and 4 places to his name but has lost his way somewhat. will have needed the run on stable debut (same owners) last time out and as a result of not seeing out the season very well last year sits on a mark which is 13lb below the last winning one which was over CD. Did place here last summer too from 5lb higher over CD so lots to like if the new yard have found the old spark.

Merrimack 1pt win only 6/1 – Runner up off this mark at Newmarket last week was unbalance in the dip there almost shipping the jockey off through the side door before being carrier right in the last furlong so fair to say he didn’t get the run of the race. That said he looked dogged and tough to the line and is worth a try here dropping in grade slightly with a very valuable claim of 7lb on board in the form of Olivia Haines who does well for this yard.
