British European Breeders Fund EBF Fillies’ Handicap

Wasaayef (1pt win only 11/4)

Yard has their string in good order and this lightly raced and well bred entry looks an exciting prospect on return from almost a year off. Has some pretty decent form in her 3 starts to date and this mark of 93 could well be an underestimated one.

British European Breeders Fund EBF Fillies’ Handicap

Tulip Fields (1pt win only 9/2)

Won a couple of handicaps returning to action including one here at Goodwood and ran very well in a listed event last time out. Returns to handicap company eased slightly in the weights and goes for a trainer that often does well at this meeting.

14:30 Ayr 28 Jul 2020

Jordan Electrics Handicap

Harrison Point (1pt win only 6/1)

Has run respectably in better company and comes here for a yard well and truly in form and a trainer/jockey combination that are making a name for themselves. Also sits on a falling mark and is looking fairly treated here down in grade.

Qatar Lennox Stakes

History Writer (0.5pt EW 80/1 4 Places Will Hill)

Huge outsider going for a yard who don’t waste much ammunition. Has an entry in a C2 handicap later in the week so with the yards horses in good order its very interesting to see this one pitched in to a Group2 contest. Was possibly in need of latest run and undoubtedly has something to find here but at these odds with 4 places on offer we have to have a nibble
