Won from this mark last year so on that premise is well handicapped. That was over a shorter trip of 7F however and he steps up markedly in trip here for the first time. Has placed twice at the track from just 2 attempts last term and both of those came from a 3lb higher mark too. No forlorn hope for top Northern yard.

CD Listed winner here as a a 2YO but not quite kicked on from that running in Group company and was eased in grade back down to handicaps last time out when not beaten far from a slightly higher mark. Eased another couple of pounds for todays race and should be up there at the business end and 5 places up for grabs make this the value angle of the race.

Another previous CD winner who is starting to look well treated. For that however will need to bounce back from a few lack lustre efforts. Cheekpieces back on and a 3lb drop in the weights on top of a slight drop in grade could well hold the key to getting this filly back in the winners enclosure.

Slightly unpredictable but is sitting on a fair mark should he be on a going day here for a yard just starting to find their aim. Overpriced selection.
