Going from 1lb out of the handicap here so a slight risk involved but steps up in trip here which on breeding could well unlock a little more. Ran a pleasing 3rd on yard debut after joining from Stella Barclay and could well improve on that here. Yards record here over the last 12 months is pretty decent with 5/23 for a 21% strike and a more impressive LSP of +31.

One from the tracker with which we are chancing our arm slightly. 4 places available which certainly helps our confidence a little. Ran a very good second over this trip on Good to Firm ground back in July from this mark and has possibly not been seen to best effect in more testing conditions since. Gets that ground again here and could outrun these odds today.

Put in a decent effort here over CD back in July on similar ground to today and has since under performed on softer conditions. Returns here some 5lb lower and has to be in with a chance if rediscovering that form. Visor applied which could help him settle so fingers crossed for a big run.

I might need my head testing as this would possibly look an impossible ask to some, comes in from almost a year off the track and giving away 10lb+ to the field. Was found out on Soft ground when last seen in a very hot looking handicap however and is worth another try here. Possibly a better horse than handicap company and despite the long lay off has proven to go well fresh before. Prior to that last run he had put in a great effort giving weight away to a couple of very classy performers, including a G1 winner. Yard have a very good record here with a near 30% strike too so not one to dismiss.

Ran an out of character bad race last time out but before that was running consistently well at a much higher level than this. Yard are in great form and this horse is equally as effective if not more on the AW. Huge drop in grade today and eased a couple of pounds for a bang in form yard. Whats not to like. Yards only runner on the card and Jason Watson travels in for the ride

Somewhat of an unknown quantity this one and comes here with his yard not really firing. Goes for top connections however and makes handicap debut having been gelded and stepping back up markedly in trip. Plenty of unknowns but is well bred and will have better races than this within given time. Yards only runner on the card and Tom Marqand takes the ride
