Lightly raced and put in a much improved run over 5f last time out following wind surgery. If able to improve for that run could well go close here at a big price. Equally as effective over this longer trip and was in fact doing his best work late on last time over the shorter trip. Ground looks ideal and Kevin Stott takes the ride. Kevin gets on well with this one and is 3 wins and 4 placed from 9 rides on board.

Still a maiden but was on the premise in a decent looking race last time out. Could well be able to put that experience to good use here in this similar looking contest. Consistent in all 4 runs to date coming up against decent opposition in all 4 races.

Bit of a wildcard selection this one. Last couple of runs have not been very good at all but prior to that had been running very well indeed. Returned to action with a commanding victory in a race that has since worked out and finished runner up in a listed event. If able to rediscover that form looks to hold decent EW chances at a huge price. Yard don’t often venture this far North so worth a pop.

A good 3rd on return from a lengthy lay of finishing just in behind today’s favourite from the John Gosden yard. Should come on for that run and is well worth a try at this price here. Well bred runner who appreciated the step up to this trip last time out. Very interesting ex Mark Johnstone runner.

This race looks to be a little more competitive so will demand improvement and will need to prove as effective on turf. Is bred to be just as effective however and may just be slightly better if anything. S De Sousa is an eyecatching booking in the saddle.
