Already a heavy ground winner at this track over fences. Looked a little rusty on return over this longer trip last time out but is worth another try now with a run under the belt and eased 4lb by the handicaper. Stayed this far over hurdles and these conditions seem to bring out the best in him. Nicky richards record here is a good one with a 26% strike rate and Ryan Day is 4 wins and 2 placed from 8 riding this horse.

Still unexposed over these bigger obstacles and has done enough in previous outings to suggest a race like this is not beyond him. A fair hurdler who put in a fine effort returning from 9 months off over CD last time out and could be all the better for it. Ground a slight worry but still lightly raced and nothing to suggest that he won’t handle it.

Had a fairly positive first season with Gordon Elliot running well on a handful of occasions and progressing gently. Didn’t seem to come on last year owever and has since changed hands and now operates out of Ian Williams yard. Talented but quirky individual who showed little on return from a year out for new connections but would have needed that run and is turned out quickly by the in form yard having been eased 5lb by the handicapper. A race of this magnitude would certainly not be boyond her if putting a best foot forward. Has won on soft before and should be suited by this sharp track.

Still to be seen as to wether he can put it together over obstacles but has joined a good dual purpose trainer in Ian Williams, a yard that have a great record here and have started to hit some form. Should be ready to roll following a spin back on the flat. Big Chance.
