Bumper winner who was only narrowly denied by one from a yard in form on hurdles debut and is worth another try here stepped up in trip. Was staying on and rallying after the last last time so should appreciate this trip with conditions too looking ideal.

Still going well and just starting to get involved last time out before coming to grief. Was making his handicap debut that time having had only a handful of runs over hurdles and running to a fair level too. Last run was only his second run in almost 2 years so would be entitle to come on a little too. Stepped up slightly again in trip here today which ought to suit and there is more to come we feel for these family connections.

Put in a brace of solid performances in the mud recently up at Ayr and returns for another tilt at this race having placed here last year. Comes in 5lb lower this year with the yard going well and ought to run a solid race again today with conditions to suit. Horse is 2 wins and 3 placed from his 6 runs here including 2 placed efforts over CD. So plenty to like from an overpriced selection.

A bit of a leap of faith is taken here having disappointed massively over CD last time out when picked by me. Had previously shown a decent level of form in 2 CD outings in testing conditions and that run was somewhat of an anomaly on the form figures so he gets another chance today. One of those previous CD effort came here in this race last year when just narrowly denied from a pound lower by an improving Paul Nicholls runner. Talented enough if able to put that last run behind.
