Lightly raced 9 year old who has been somewhat disappointing since joining the yard from Clare Ellam. Showed small signs of improvement last time out however which offers some encouragement in this weak looking race. Has plummeted down the weights and now sits on a very inviting mark of just 87 in comparison to this time last year when he would have gone from 106. Risks attached but worth a try here today.

Won 3 times over the 3 mile trip last term but finished last of 9 on returning to action following 3 months off earlier this month. Was not a million miles away on that return run and was not given a hard time either. A better run can be expected today from what looks a very lenient mark. Gets much needed better ground today and is now effectively 19lb lower than that last win at Ludlow when we take into consideration Isabel Williams 5lb claim.

Biowave Blocks Pain At The Source Handicap Chase

Very lightly raced and still unexposed over these bigger obstacles. Ran to a fair level over hurdles and if able to translate that here back at the scene of possibly her best ever run should go close from this mark. Had made a pleasing chase debut but flopped next time out. Excuses can be made for that run however having been hampered early on and never getting into a rhythm thereafter and we should hopefully see a better run today. Conditions to suit today and overpriced.
