Been off 162 days but has done her best work fresh and at this time of year so we are not put off by that. Mark looks about right if able to put that last run behind her.

Grand Morning 1pt win only 12/1 – 3 times course winner who is back on his last winning mark. Dropping in class here and has conditions looking favourable. Has a bit to prove but won on this card last year and is sitting on a good mark. More than capable and looks overpriced.

Grooveur 1pt win only 8/1 – Worth a try at this new trip from a sliding mark. Has run well in a couple of decent looking races this term and is certainly not out of this if able to cope with todays much longer trip. Being bought along steadily by the yard and will be in the winners enclosure again before long.

Georges Saint £10 win only @22/1 (Skybet money back as cash if 2nd,3rd,4th or 5th) – We have gone a little outside the box with this selection and come away from the obvious choices of Peejaybee, Kappers Hil Our Jet etc. All of who line up here very much on merit and we take nothing away from what they have achieved. All are possibly a little more exposed than the selection here however who could just be one who has slipped under the radar. A dual winner over in France who put in a very decent performance on yard debut back over the smaller obstacles, slightly disappointing next time but was kept wide throughout in the mud and may go better in todays conditions. Has also had a wind op since that run so hopefully that will have the desired effect for what looks like a well handicapped runner from a yard very much in form.

Mighty Gurka £10 win only 13/2 (PP money back as Free Bet if 2nd,3rd or 4th) – Has been given a chance by the handicapper here following a couple of lesser performances, had excuses last time from the wide stall which can be very unforgiving at Kempton and is very much of interest having been freshened up by Archie Watson. Often ridden prominently and will most likely do so again today so hopefully he will be able to hold on from this relaxed mark.

Lucky One £5 win only @6/1 – Seems to have followed a similar trajectory as the yards winner in this race last year and has possibly been targeted specifically at this and his next race. Beaten a fair way last time out but was not given a hard time and came away a clear third in behind a handicap blot but ahead of a fairly decent field. Todays drop back in trip should suit and looks the one to beat. Harry Skelton now takes over in the saddle.
