Sunday Selections from #Newbury #Plumpton #Southwell

The latest selections

505 Newbury

Dubai Station 1pt win only 9/1 – Has run in some pretty decent company and not been beaten far by them since his 2yo days and does not look harshly treated from this mark here today. Will need to be ready first time up following a 208 absence from the track but has won off a break before and cannot be ruled out here dropping into handicap company for the first time.

540 Newbury

Atheby 0.5pt EW 66/1 (4places Skybet) – Charlie Appleby’s horse will take all the beating here but at 5/2 he’s a little short for our money. Instead we turn to this 8 race maiden who on occasion has shown snippets of ability. Gets in here from a very workable mark and looks overpriced considering the weight of burden some of his opponents will carry today.

232 Southwell

Bobby Joe Leg 0.5pt EW 16/1 (4 places B365) – Made all here to win over CD in Jan from a 1lb higher mark and has held form pretty well in a couple of runs since. Should give a decent run for your money once again and 4 places looks a steal for the EW money.

417 Southwell

Mudlahhim 0.5pt EW 25/1 4 places – Dropping in class today and eased again in the weights. Latest couple of runs can be forgiven and is now weighted to go very close in a race of this magnitude for local yard. Possibly better over 7f but can make his presence felt here.

452 Southwell

Red Allure 0.5pt EW 16/1 4 places – Ran well here over CD last time out from a near impossible draw, forced to race 4 wide throughout and caught the eye staying on. Race was won that day by the well handicapped Jack Ryan who reposes here on 4lb worse terms today and this should be much closer. Yard do pretty well with their runners here and this one may just have be found an opening today

Multiple

0.5pt EW Trixie on Red Allure, Mudlahhim, Bobby Joe Leg (B365)
