#HNY Selections from #Cheltenham #Catterick #Exeter

The latest selections

Punta Prima 1pt win only 20/1 (115 Catterick) – Interesting runner for a yard that does very well in these parts. Upped in trip markedly today in testing conditions which could well just be the key to this one. First time blinkers go on and a massive 10lb taken off by a promising young claimer. Race looks there for the taking.

Nap: Rapper 1pt win only 8/1 (1245 Cheltenham) – A running on 3rd last time out behind two decent looking stayers. Blinkers added today which could eek out a little more from this very unexposed sort from a yard on fire. Henry Daly can do very little wrong at present and has won with 5 of his last 16 runners for a 35% strike in the last 14 days.

NB: Wilde About Oscar 1pt win only 8/1 (305 Cheltenham) – A very close 3rd at Sandown last time out when upped in trip for the first time. Reopposes on slightly better terms with the two who pipped him home that day, Call Me Lord and Dolphin Square and he will have learned plenty from that race. Ought to be in the mix again today with conditions on side.

Haut Folin 1pt win only 14/1 (240 Exeter) – Will need to bounce back from a disappointing yard debut but could well have been in need of the run that day and will come here fitter for this step up in trip. Twice a winner in France including on Heavy ground which he will encounter again today.

NNB: War Lord 1pt win only 14/1 (155 Cheltenham) – A very good level was achieved as a novice last term and can be forgiven his reappearance run when looking in need of a little match fitness. Steps back up in trip here today and looks the pick of the yards two runners on jockey bookings. A tough race but with the right tactics applied (held up off the pace) one that he can win.
