Sky Bet Supreme Novices’ Hurdle
Tahmuras £10 or 2pt win only 10/1 (Money back as free bet if losing Virgin Bet) – Plenty is being spoken of the Irish horses heading the market but this P Nicholls trained 6 year old could be capable of spoiling the party. Won the Tolworth on his latest start and whilst it was no Constitutionesque performance the form of that race looks pretty strong. His last two wins have come in soft conditions and this stiff uphill finish at Cheltenham should play to his strengths. Has a pointing background which could well be suited to this race.

Sporting Life Arkle Challenge Trophy Novices’ Chase
El Fabiolo 5/4 (see multiple) – One from our 50 To Follow who we have long been in the camp of. His only defeat under rules came at the hands of Jonbon at Aintree last season. Far less exposed than that rival and has improved in abundance since that clash. Could the same be said for Jonbon, possibly not. Whilst he has improved he looks to be one who has a few chinks in his armour and if the Willie Mullins trained selections jumping holds up he could run away with this.

Ultima Handicap Chase
Good Boy Bobby 0.5pt EW 28/1 (8places Skybet) – Fallen down the weights this season and despite being pulled up when last seen has been given a real chance by the handicapper. Now 6lb below his last winning mark and is no forlorn hope here on what he had shown earlier in the season. Been freshened up before coming here and has often done his best work off the back of a break. Yard also saddle Fantastikas who was 7th last year but goes this year from 12lb lower in first time headgear and is another who will need taking serious. Both have conditions to suit today. Remastered should run a big race again but could be vulnerable from todays mark.

Close Brothers Mares’ Hurdle
Maries Rock 11/4 (See Multiple) – Another from our 50 to Follow who we just couldn’t bet against. Had the option of going to the Stayers up until this week and we trust that N Henderson will have made the smart decision and possibly has the measure of Honeysuckle here. Won the race last year and showed she was still as tough as teak last time out in the Relkeel brushing off the very pesky and dour stayer Dashel Drasher and a fairly decent field to boot.

Boodles Juvenile Handicap Hurdle
Bad 1pt win only (20/1 Antepost) + Jazzy Matty 0.5pt EW 18/1 (6places PP) – Bad rates a very interesting contender coming here and having been heavily supported before today. Bucks a few of the trends but his yard have made no secret of how highly regarded he is. Gordon Elliot is hard to ignore however in this race and of his three runners the selection looks the more likely sort for this race. Always a fascinating contest and a race that will throw up a few for the tracker.

Wellchild National Hunt Challenge Cup Amateur Jockeys’ Novices’ Chase
Gaillard Du Mesnil 11/10 (see multiple) – The last of 3 selections from the 50 to Follow running today and another who comes here holding excellent chances. Finished 3rd in last years Browns Advisory and has posted a couple of very decent efforts this term in behind Mighty Potter. Finished 3rd in the Irish Grand National and will love this test today. Has some serious Grade 1 form to bring to this slightly easier contest.
