Buddy’s Beauty 1pt win only 13/2 – 13lb higher than her latest win last June and making her return to action following 297 days off the track so has to have improved over the break. Still very lightly raced however and looked very progressive last term. Finished the season with a very close 2nd from just 3lb lower and finished behind one that has won from a 7lb higher mark since so on that form without the possible improvement does not look harshly treated for her return. Rhys Clutterbuck gets on very well with her 2 wins and 1 place from 3 runs together. He also does well for these connections in general and will be riding with a lot of confidence given his 25% strike rate in the last 14 days.

Sir Laurence Graff 0.5pt EW 33/1 – This once promising 4yo was given and opening handicap mark of 85 for John Gosden around 18 months ago and ran arguably his best race from that very same mark on his yard debut last July. Following a failed spell on the AW over the winter he makes his return to turf with ideal conditions judged on that race from a 28lb lower mark of just 57. Still only 4 years old and could well bounce back returning to turf following a break.

Master Dandy 1pt win only 11/1 – Only modest form in 5 runs but will be open to plenty of improvement this term. Drops back in trip and with slightly better conditions under foot, both of which will suit and was not disgraced last time out despite the wrong trip and coming off a 3 month break. Mark doesn’t look overly generous but he should certainly be picking up a race of this magnitude soon. Yard have been amongst the winners this week and this one can add to their tally.

Looks to be a good few lbs well in on the best of her form from last term and could still be open to some improvement. Drawn well.

Moves Like Monty 1pt win only 9/1 – Bred for chasing and despite being sent out over completely the wrong trip on Chase debut he put in a much improved performance. Steps up markedly in trip and switches to the yards preferred track with Adam Wedge on board who does very well for this yard.
