Improved for step up in trip when last seen at Hereford and but for a few costly mistakes could have finished much closer. Takes another step up in trip on reappearance here and is well worth another try if H Whittington has managed to sort out that jumping. Adrian Heskin takes over in the saddle and he is 2 wins and 2 placed from 5 in the last 12 months for the yard so thats an 80% place strike and with 5 places available we take the plunge. One of two runners in the race for a yard that go well here with the other being Rebel Leader

One from the tracker who was due to run 8 days ago at Chepstow in the Grade 3 Silver Trophy Handicap. Was withdrawn that day for i can only guess the ground conditions. Gets a little more cut today and this previous CD winner is open to a ton of improvement. Goes well fresh and despite being a little disappointing at the Cheltenham festival enters much calmer waters here today.

Not an easy one to win with for sure but has been given a chance by the handicapper here and should be ready to roll having been freshened up by the in form Jamie Snowden. Has often gone well after a short break and i particular in these kind of races. All 3 of his wins to date have come in the hands of today’s jockey Page Fuller who seems to get a decent tune out of the horse. Now 7lb below last winning mark so no excuses.

Fergal O Brien is very profitable to follow in bumper races and although this has a few decent entries i feel a couple of them will be sorts for further down the line. Yard are 30% win strike in the last 12 months in bumpers and have an overall LSP of +62 in NHF races. Yard are in great form with 6 winners in the last 14 days. Yards sole runner on the card and Paddy Brennan (29% win strike for yard with +42 LSP in last 12 months) comes in for the ride and hangs around from only one other ride in the first race.

Let down by his jumping when last seen but that was an uncharacteristic performance on softer than ideal ground at Cheltenham. Back on better ground here for his reappearance and known to go well fresh too. Yard in fine form with 5 winners in the last 14 days and have a decent record sending them here with 7 wins and 4 placed from just 21 for a 33% win strike. They send just the one today. Interesting David Bass heads to Ffos Las however for the yards other runners.
