Reverts back to hurdles following a poor spell over fences returning from a long lay off. Shaped well enough for a long way on latest effort and is well worth another try over these smaller obstacles from this reduced mark. 18lb below last winning hurdles mark albeit a while back but if able to bounce back for the switch is very well handicapped. Jack Savage is 3 wins from 9 for the yard in the last 12 months which also offers a little encouragement.

Given too much to do last time out and finished very strongly, has gone up a few pounds for that run but the way he finished off the race suggested that there was a little juice left in the tank. Was 3rd in a race this time last year at Taunton that has worked out particularly well and that form line offers plenty of hope that this one can take on this well fancied favourite.

Possibly has the pick of hurdles form on show and based on that here if able to put that last run behind should go close. The short priced favourite has been impressive to date but has gone up another 8lb for latest win making him vulnerable today.

Off the track 427 days and changed yards and will now have a first run for Nicky Henderson. Interesting jockey booking in 2Lt Billy Aprahamain who has only ever ridden a handful of runners under rules. One of those rides was a winning one for this yard. On previous chase form is pretty well handicapped and goes 5lb below last winning mark. Just remains to be seen as to what if anything the switch to the Seven Barrows yard has done for this ones chances.
