Worth another try dropping in grade here. By far the class act in the race and its a race that trainer Venetia Williams has won on 5 of the last 8 runnings. Disappointing on return which is a slight worry as he often goes well fresh, but we can forgive that as with the year we have had preparations may well not have gone as planned. If able to find the form of his Cheltenham run from this time last year should be bang there today.

Put in another fine effort next time out and would have finished much closer had he not been badly hampered. Stayed on dourly after that and is worth a try on chasing debut from this very fair mark. Paul Nicholls has a 43% strike with his runners here in the last 12 months and this points winner looks the sort to be even better now tackling the bigger obstacles.

Will stay this marathon trip and looks well enough treated to be involved here today. Still improving and far less exposed than many of his rivals. Gavin Sheehan back on board and his record for the yard is an encouraging one with 6 wins and 5 placed from 20 rides for a 30% strike.
