Every Race Live On Racing TV Handicap Chase
Liars Dice (0.5pt EW 18/1)
Turned out pretty quickly having had a first run back over fences since joining this yard and does so a fair bit better off in the weights when taking his jockeys 7lb claim into account. Last run was not without promise and came after a 93 day lay off so should hopefully be fitter this time around. Handicapper has released his grip a further 6lb and coupled with todays claim that puts him 13lb lower than that last run. First run in cheekpieces today and should be able to go much closer.

Paddy Power Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle
Hit The Rocks (0.5pt EW 20/1)
Lightly raced maiden who has been given a bit of a chance by the handicapper here today. Suffered a pretty heavy defeat on handicap hurdles debut but had previously shown plenty of promise in a couple of maidens over this trip and is worth another try today from this falling mark. Latest run in a jumpers bumper was slightly more encouraging and could well have a hand to play from a big price.

Paddy Power ‘4 Sleeps To Cheltenham’ Handicap Hurdle

Had a phenomenal season last term for this yard culminating in a runaway victory in soft ground at Ascot. Has not been the same horse since and will need to bounce back to somewhere near that for today to get involved. Has had excuses for some of the lesser performances however and has now been eased to more realistic company, over the right trip, in more suitable conditions and having been given a bit of relief from the handicappers grip so another chance is taken.

Arguably at his best around here in recent months and has placed twice here over CD since the turn of the year . Still fairly treated on old form and has to be given a chance again today. Overpriced selection who will get his head in front again soon. Yard do well here with around a 20% strike which is high for this track and a LSP of around +75.
