Bounced back to some kind of form last time out when runner up in a decent race at Chester’s May festival. Will need to be in equally as good a mood today but represents decent EW value going from the same mark in what look to be perfect conditions. Could prove tough to pass if able to get a soft lead from this field as many of the Mark Johnstone horses often do.

Interesting contender for top yard William Haggas who are in fine form at present. Back on ground that looks to be more like his ideal and dropping back slightly in trip could be just the key to help this one get back to winning ways. Was not disgraced despite the bare result last time out in a hot contest on ground that was too quick and much better can be expected here in slightly calmer waters. Cheekpieces on for first time which could also eek out a little more.
