Runner up last time out behind a very comfortable subsequent winner and has to be worth another chance from just 1lb higher. Probably did a little too much too early last time out but was a staying on second which offers some encouragement today stepped up in trip. Easing ground should play into his favour too.

Pulled very hard in two handicap starts to date and despite this has finished only around 4 lengths off the winner both times. Has a tongue tie on for the first time today and William Buick takes over in the saddle. If these measures are able to settle him then this current mark looks like a fairly light one for such a well bred runner. Yard do well with their runners here and have been in decent form of late. An eye should also be kept on Bannergirl who offers excellent EW value at 33/1

Based on what we have seen from this Joseph Parr trained filly to date this step back up in trip in slightly more testing conditions could bring out the very best of her. Will need to be tuned up following 178 days off the track but is still fairly lightly raced and open to plenty of improvement. On a fair mark and back in the cheekpieces that have worked so well to date.
