Lightly raced maiden who has rejoined Mick Appleby following a failed spell at Sean Keightley’s yard. Finished last of 10 in a Nursery at Wolverhampton back in December and has not been seen on the track since. Returns to action in what looks a very ordinary affair and if able to show any of his early promise could cause an upset here. Put in a promising run on debut last August and hopefully this switch back to turf can bring about a revival.

Not beaten far over course and distance just 6 days ago and goes from the same mark here. Put in a fair run on her first run on turf in a sellers race previously and that race has worked out pretty well since, so plenty of encouragement on recent form. Rhys Clutterbuck takes over in the saddle and he has a record of 4 wins and 1 placed effort from just 6 rides for the in form Joseph Tuite yard who has scored with 5 of his last 15 runners.

Blue Venture (1 point win only 11/1)
Still a maiden after 12 runs but has managed to hit the frame on 5 occasions, including a close up second over course and distance 19 months ago. Ran well here again last August from a 6 pound higher mark and both of these runs have come in the hands of Tom Marquand who takes over in the saddle for this reappearance run. Draw not ideal and has to overcome a 231 day lay off but comes in on a very handy mark and with his yard in good form. Not the strongest of races so one we are willing to take a gamble on.
