Has been off the track for 10 months but returns here with his yard in form so hopefully they will have this one ready first time up. A 3 times winner over this trip so interesting to see him dropped back down having run over further for the past 2 years. Mark has fallen significantly since then and he goes here some 11lb below his highest winning mark. Dropping in class here too today for this return and makes a very interesting contender.

Been a bit below par since winning back to back 1 mile contests last Aug/Sept. She is back down to just 1lb above the latest of those wins and is worth a try stepped up in trip here in what look to be ideal conditions. Unexposed at this trip and both breeding and previous wins would suggest that she will get home ok. Holds decent EW chances with 4 places available and in a contest where a few look vulnerable on their current marks.

Made a decent start for this new yard winning a mares handicap on just her second start since joining. Shaped well next time up too at Southwell when dropped in trip and running into one who has won twice again since. Tom Midgley is able to get his full claim here again today of 7lb which effectively put her just 1lb above the winning mark from the mares race 2 runs back. Well worth another try back up in trip considering how her last couple of runs have worked out.
Oakenshield 1pt win only 10/1 (735Yarm) Nb
Needs to bounce back from a poor run last time out but had earlier shown signs of his old ability albeit only in a sellers race. Placed off 7lb higher back in April and is now sitting on a very attractive mark on best form. May need a little more give in the ground but we take a chance with Hollie Doyle back in the saddle having been eased markedly in the weights in recent months.
