A 13 race maiden who was a decent 4th in behind a very well treated subsequent winner when last seen. That run was a big improvement on previous runs and that offers some encouragement today dropping back slightly in trip. That race has worked out well since so we have no concerns over today’s mark and running from a few lb’s out of the handicap. Yard have enjoyed a couple of winners recently too.

Poor run on handicap debut last time out and will need to put that run behind her. Worth another chance however on the form of her reappearance race when a well beaten 2nd in a race that has turned out winners since. On that evidence this current mark is not a harsh one and we could see a better run today in more suitable conditions. Unexposed and open to plenty of improvement.

CD winner who can be forgiven his latest run that came in bottomless ground and never got into the race. Back in better conditions today and sitting on his last winning mark. Yard have clearly had to be patient with this one over the past 12 months and hopefully the perseverance will pay off today. Has some decent form in the book if able to bounce back today. Has a bit to prove but so do a few of these and we know on a going day he’s got what it takes for a race like this.

Back to back wins for this yard a couple of seasons back before a rather disappointing year last term. As a result of that she finds herself falling in the weights to a very attractive mark. Reappearance run back in May was much needed and put in a much more encouraging run last time out when 4th in a race that is turning out winners. Won’t need to find much more to get involved here today from a reduced mark and in good hands.
Double Court 0.5pt EW 16/1 4 Places (830Worc) Outsider
6lb lower than his last win which came over this trip in similar conditions last summer. Been a bit poor since but did show signs of his old self last time out in a decent looking race at Southwell. Has a fair record at the track including 2 placed efforts over CD and cannot be ruled out back in the hands of Sam Twistin Davies who has ridden him to victory 5 times in 15 rides.
