Yard have been in fine for with 6 winners and a 33% strike in the last 14 days. Their record here at Plumpton in the last 12 months reads pretty well too with 5 wins and 4 placed from 19. Lots to like.

The Cathal Don 1pt win only 16/1 – A decent hurdler who looked to be certain to make up into a good chaser after winning at just the 2nd time of asking over the bigger obstacles for H De Bromhead. Still looked full of promise on yard debut but has failed to back that up on last two runs. This represents a marked drop in class here having said that and he would be entitled to put in a much more convincing effort from todays much lower mark. Tongue strap back on that has seen him win twice and place once from just 4 runs in that gear.
345 Taunton (IWAC)
Grizzly James 0.5pt EW 16/1 (4 places Will Hill) – Not really fired for his new yard but another one taking a sharp drop in class having fallen in the weights and far too soon to be written off. Venetia Williams will be frustrated from what she has seen to date no doubt and sends this one now over a trip that is sure to suit and in more fitting company. Ran well for a long way last time out having returned from a wind op, making this drop in trip look like the sensible option.
