Has gone well here in the past and a return to this shorter trip could be just the tonic having been outstayed last time. Had had a wind op and was returning from a short brek last time so possible that better can be expected.

100 Market Rasen (Nap)

Forever Des Long 1pt win only 13/2 – A possible improver now down in class and eased in the weights. Still a maiden but has finished placed 6 times from 10 starts showing that he is clearly good enough but need the right race. Has a valuable 10lb taken off here making him a very well handicapped runner on best form and comes here with the yard going well too. Yards record here reads well in recent years and they send just this one on a 496 mile round trip tomorrow.

346 Wetherby (Nb)

Grand Mogul 1pt win 6/1 – Last run can be forgiven as he was returning from a long lay of and looked to be out for a pipe opener. Was not suited by the track or conditions at Exeter either and jumped left quite notably before making a couple of costly mistakes. This track however looks ideal, left handed and much more suitable to this free running sort. Better can be expected. Yards record here is impressive too with 7 wins from just 12 runners in the last 5 years for a 58% strike. They send just this one runner.
