The latest selections
Blakeney Point 1pt win only 9/1 (215 Bangor) – CD winner who hasn’t appeared to be the force of old in his last few runs. His latest run however offered plenty of encouragement that there is still something left in the tank and he comes here today from a much reduced mark, dropping markedly in class with his yard going well. Brian Hughes takes the ride and this local yard are no strangers to winning this race having taken the spoils 2 years back.
Araifjan 1pt win only 11/1 (345 Chelmsford) – Scored twice over CD last year and is impossible to ignore from the weights here today. Can be forgiven his latest run on lesser preferred turf over the shorter and less suitable 5 furlongs and is taken to bounce back now on more familiar ground. Had previously put in a very pleasing reappearance run at Wolverhampton in a race that is starting to look pretty genuine. Overpriced given his form at the track.
Revoloutionise 1pt win only 17/2 (420 Chelmsford) – Most of this ones best work has come here and more specifically over CD. 2 wins and 2 places from 5 runs over CD. Third and not beaten far in a very hot looking race here last time out and should go well again from a decent looking mark (3lb below last win). Yard warrant respect at this track and Marco Ghiani taking over in the saddle is a positive here too.
Giogiobbo 1pt win only 11/2 (840 Doncaster) – 3 from 4 over CD and returns here dropping in grade on the back of a fantastic run in a race that is working out well. Yard have landed a couple of decent wins at York Dante festival this week and this one has to be respected under the excellent 5lb claim of J Fisher.
Mister Malachy 1pt win only 9/1 (750 Uttoxeter) – Not been seen since being tailed off on handicap debut 5 months ago. Makes a return to action dropping slightly in grade and weight and does so with his yard in decent form too. Yards record at the track in the past 12 months is a pretty impressive one too with 10 wins and 9 placed from 34 for a 29% strike and an LSP of +49. Theo Gillard takes off an extra 3lb and he does very well when sent here by this yard.
Beach Break 1pt win only 12/1 (820 Uttoxeter) – Another on the card for the above mentioned McCain/Gillard combination that do so well here. On a long losing run and looks a risky proposition but has looked better in his last 2 runs and cannot be completely ruled out here from a sliding mark.

0.25pt Ew 6Fold on above selections- 0.5pt

Specials/Offer
Ehraz £10 win only 4/1 (135 Newbury) SkyBet money back as cash if 2nd or 3rd – Has been put right with a run before coming here by a yard that have a very rich affiliation with this race. Trainer has won the race twice and his father Richard Hannon Sr won the race 6 times in total. Jim Crowley takes the ride over connections other runner and we fancy him to reverse the form last time out with Hierarchy.
Running total – +£70.00
Bets with no stake returned – 8
Bets Placed – 19
