Cassamari Abbey 0.5pt EW 66/1 4 places (838 Hexham) – Entitled to be much fitter for latest run following a wind op and looks of more interest today dropping back in trip. Has won from a much higher mark across the water in Ireland so is clearly well treated if able to rediscover that form. Risky from a win perspective but a live EW chance.
Vina Bay 1pt win only 14/1 (517 Huntingdon) – Unproven on turf but has shown enough ability to be able to transfer that flat form to hurdles here today. Rated better than a few of these rival on the flat too so is no forlorn hope. M Scudamore Has proven very profitable to follow when sending them here and runs just this one today. Richard Patrick takes the ride with namesake T Scudamore otherwise engaged.

The form of his last 4th at Haydock is starting to look pretty strong and this opening mark looks a very fair one.
