Maysong 1pt win only 7/1 (300 Redcar) – Ultra consistent and arrives here on the back of an excellent run in the Spring Mile last time out. Has less questions to answer under today’s conditions than a few of his rivals and comes here with the yard amongst the winners. 7lb taken off by todays claimer, however he is yet to win a race which does cause slight concern.

Broxi 1pt win only 13/2 (420 Windsor) – Arrives here fit and will not be put off by the cut in the ground today. Only 2lb above last win which came on soft ground and holds excellent chances today should this extra furlong not catch him out. Has placed twice over today’s trip but has a little still to prove under these conditions.

Mutanaaseq 1pt win only 8/1 (150 Redcar) – Had an indifferent season last year and as a result comes here today sitting on a very workable mark. Has gone well however from much higher marks with a little cut under foot including on this card last year where he went from a mark of 71 in the Class 3 feature race to finish 3l 3rd. Goes today having had a very similar prep from 52 in a Class 5 so holds obvious chances if on song here.

Indian Creek 1pt win only 11/2 (345 Windsor) – Last 3 wins have been gained over CD including one on soft ground that is likely to be encountered here today. Tailed off at Newbury when last seen but had a very busy season so was probably ready to wrap up at that point. Despite just the 1 winner in the last 14 days the yard have hit the crossbar plenty of time recently suggesting that they are in good order. Jack Channon’s dad and predecessor has won this race on 2 of it 4 running’s so has possibly been an early season target here too.
