This demands more but is less exposed at this trip than many of his rivals and that could prove vital after such a condensed season for many. Won’t mind a drop of rain and is pretty versatile with conditions.

Last couple of runs have left a little to be desired but on best form is fairly treated. Has cheekpieces on for the first time following a couple of poor performances and been off for 65 days too. That gives this shrewd handler plenty of time to have worked some magic. 2lb below last winning mark and has favourable conditions too so plenty to like on paper.

I might need my head testing as this would possibly look an impossible ask to some, comes in from almost a year off the track and giving away 10lb+ to the field. Was found out on Soft ground when last seen in a very hot looking handicap however and is worth another try here. Possibly a better horse than handicap company and despite the long lay off has proven to go well fresh before. Prior to that last run he had put in a great effort giving weight away to a couple of very classy performers, including a G1 winner. Yard have a very good record here with a near 30% strike too so not one to dismiss.
